In 2022, I purchased a Viomi V3 Vacuum Cleaner Laser Sensor Smart Robot Vacuum. Recently, the device developed a sensor malfunction, so I sent it to the authorized service center for inspection. To my shock, I was informed that I would need to pay ₺5000 just to replace the laser sensor.
Since this cost was completely unreasonable, I refused the repair and requested that the product be returned. At that point, I was told I would need to pay ₺1700 for inspection plus shipping costs just to get my own device back. When I asked to simply leave the machine at the service center without repair, that option was also rejected.
To put this into perspective, the current price of a brand new Viomi V3 is around ₺8000. Paying ₺5000 for a repair makes no sense, especially when there is a risk that other parts could fail shortly afterward. If I accept the repair, I waste money; if I refuse, I still lose nearly ₺2000 for nothing.
This experience has left me extremely frustrated. I will not be repairing the device, and unfortunately, I am forced to request its return and consider it a total loss. I expect Viomi to take responsibility and provide a fair resolution, whether through a proper warranty repair, a replacement device, or a full refund.
