Around 10 June, I sold my standing category ticket for Dua Lipa’s concert in Milan through Viagogo. I personally attended the concert with my own ticket without any problems. However, Viagogo later claimed that the buyer of my resold ticket could not enter the event and, without providing me with any proof, charged my credit card an outrageous penalty of €300—three times the ticket’s original price.
When I contacted Viagogo customer service, I was simply told it was a “seller error” with no further explanation. I was given no evidence, no opportunity to defend myself, and no justification for why such a disproportionate penalty was applied. This was the first time I ever encountered such an issue, and I find the practice completely unfair and unacceptable.
My transaction number is 5612*49. I demand a full refund of the €300 taken from my card, or at the very least a partial refund of 50% as a reasonable settlement. I also expect an official apology and assurance that such unjust practices will not be repeated.
