I had a terrible experience purchasing Jennifer Lopez concert tickets through Viagogo. I was following the news and saw that several outlets reported ticket sales had begun, even though the official sale date was set for April 8. Worried I’d miss out, I quickly bought two tickets from Viagogo, each priced at ₺10,000—₺20,000 total.
Later, when I checked the ticket details, I was shocked to discover that the seats I received were all the way in the back and worth no more than ₺3,000 each. Meanwhile, tickets for front-row seats were still being sold officially for the same ₺10,000 I paid. This means I grossly overpaid for low-tier tickets—something I never would have done if I had correct, transparent information at the time of purchase.
Viagogo allows sellers to list tickets at any price they want with no oversight or regulation, and when issues arise, they take zero responsibility. There's no price protection, no vetting of sellers, and most importantly—no refunds. This is misleading, exploitative, and completely unfair to customers.
I demand that Viagogo refund the difference or provide tickets that match the value I paid. Let this be a warning to others: the platform is unreliable, and you risk losing a lot of money.
