I purchased a Vestel XL fridge in 2021, and its warranty is valid until December 2024. In June 2024, the fridge broke down, and the local service in Silifke, Mersin, made several attempts to repair it. The fridge was even taken away for repairs, and I was given a replacement unit, which was dirty and poorly maintained. Throughout this period, I contacted Vestel customer service numerous times to report my issue, and I was promised that if the problem recurred, my fridge would be replaced.
Unfortunately, on 05/10/2024, the same issue happened again—my fridge stopped cooling. I contacted customer service once more and requested a replacement fridge while mine was being fixed, but the replacement provided this time didn’t work either. Even though they promised to deliver another working fridge today, it still hasn’t arrived, and it’s already past 9 PM.
Living in a hot region like Mersin without a functioning fridge is unbearable. As a company claiming to be a global brand, Vestel should act responsibly. I urge Vestel to honor their commitment and replace my fridge under warranty as soon as possible to resolve this ongoing issue.
