Vestel BM5302 Dishwasher And NFK52001 Fridge Rusting




In 2023 I purchased all my white goods from Vestel, including a BM 5302 WiFi dishwasher and an NFK52001 refrigerator, from the Vestel Yeniköy sales branch in Döşemealtı, Antalya. Although it has not even been three years yet, rusting started on both my dishwasher and the door of my refrigerator and this problem has been ongoing for about a year. Due to a difficult pregnancy process I could not deal with it earlier, but this does not change the fact that such a problem in this time frame is unacceptable for new products. When I reported the problem, service records were created with the numbers 8115418464 for the dishwasher and 8115418488 for the refrigerator. The authorized service and call center stated that the rust was “chemical-related” and categorized it as customer fault. For the dishwasher they offered a paid replacement with a lower model costing around ₺9,500, and this replacement product even has fewer programs (my current machine is 5 programs, the offered one is 4 programs). For the refrigerator, they said they could replace the door free of charge for customer satisfaction. When I asked why one product was paid and the other was not, the only explanation I received was again “customer satisfaction”. I feel that with this vague statement they are trying to avoid their responsibility. From the day I bought these products I have experienced one problem after another, and neither the authorized service, nor the dealer, nor the representatives I spoke with made a serious effort to resolve my issue. Each time I was told it was due to chemicals and therefore my fault, and the responsibility was placed on me. As a customer who deliberately preferred a domestic brand, I am extremely disappointed and feel that I have not received the quality and support I expected. I do not accept that my BM 5302 WiFi dishwasher is declared faulty due to so‑called chemical use and that only a paid replacement with a lower model is offered. My clear request is that my dishwasher be replaced free of charge with an equivalent or better model, without any cost difference being demanded from me, and that Vestel take responsibility for this rust problem that has occurred in a very short period of use.
