Defective Vestel 70QA9701 70" TV and Lack of Information

Dear Vestel Customer Service, On September 11, 2025, we purchased a Vestel 70QA9701 70" 4K UHD Android TV through Teknosa (Invoice No: TA02025000181517). The product was unpacked and set up with its stand by an authorized Vestel service. However, during the installation, we were not informed that the TV is highly delicate, that a professional service should be called again for wall mounting, or that the device could be damaged during relocation. Moreover, the product’s box is still with us, and it contains no such warnings or instructions. Due to this lack of information, when we attempted to move and wall-mount the television with the assistance of two professional individuals, the TV screen displayed colored vertical lines and image distortion upon turning it on, even though the exterior surface showed no signs of impact, dent, or breakage (photo attached). Additionally, had we needed to move this TV to another residence using its box or protective wrap, we would not have been able to do so, leaving the product unusable. For comparison, we relocated another Vestel TV in the same house using the same method without encountering any problems, and we have been using this TV model for approximately ten years without issues. All of the household appliances in our home are Vestel products; we consistently choose Vestel for our home and recommend your brand to our relatives. Therefore, this situation has damaged our trust in your brand and caused us considerable disappointment. We believe the problem with this TV is not due to user error but rather its overly sensitive panel structure and/or insufficient user guidance. According to Articles 8 and 9 of the Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, this issue qualifies as a “defective product.” The product malfunctioned shortly after delivery under normal usage conditions, without any external impact. In this context, I request that the defective TV be replaced with a new, faultless unit or, if repair is not possible, that a full refund be issued. On 09.10.2025, I purchased a Vestel 70qa9701 70 4K Smart QLED model television through Hepsiburada by paying 34,000 TL. The installation was carried out by the Vestel Authorized Service in Yenimahalle, Ankara. The television was placed on the stand with its legs by the authorized service, and no information or brochure was provided. A week later, I bought a wall mount and carefully mounted the TV on the wall by holding it from the corners. Despite there being no impact, lines appeared on the screen and the image was distorted after the installation. On 10.10.2025, I contacted the Vestel Authorized Service again and shared the situation with photos. However, I was told that the screen was broken, it was not covered by the warranty, and a fee of 20,000 TL was requested. However, my television is only one week old and no mistake was made during use. I have the invoice, warranty certificate, and service receipt. I have never experienced such a problem before and was not given any information on how to handle the screen. I request that my grievance be resolved quickly, that the television be repaired free of charge, or that the product be replaced.
