I Face Unfair Matchmaking in Valorant Due to Smurf Accounts and Unbalanced Teams

I’m writing to express my frustration with the current matchmaking system in Valorant. I’ve noticed that many high-ranked players are creating new accounts—commonly known as smurfs—and playing against beginners like me. This ruins the entire experience for newcomers. As someone who just started playing, I expect fair and balanced matches. Instead, I find myself constantly outmatched by experienced players who dominate the game, making it feel more like punishment than fun.

To make matters worse, many of my teammates behave like trolls. They either throw the match or refuse to cooperate, which further degrades the overall gameplay. I’m not the only one feeling this way—several of my friends have already uninstalled the game, and now I’ve done the same.

The matchmaking system desperately needs revision. If smurfing and trolling continue unchecked, new players will never have a chance to enjoy or improve in Valorant. Please take this seriously and release updates that prioritize fair gameplay and accountability. You’re losing players who genuinely want to be part of your gaming community.
