About 5 minutes ago, I played a ranked match in Valorant where I faced severe rank imbalance. While I am currently Bronze 3, the opposing team had Platinum 1 players, and some of my own teammates were even Diamond rank. This type of matchmaking creates a very unfair playing environment.
I have previously also been matched against Diamond-level opponents, which greatly reduces the enjoyment of the game. Instead of being a learning experience, these matches often turn frustrating due to the large skill gap. It causes communication breakdowns, loss of motivation, and leaves me feeling overwhelmed and out of place. On top of that, I have also received multiple 5–6 day chat restrictions, often triggered by the automated chat detection system, which I feel does not fairly evaluate the context.
My username is Merhaba#2*. I request that Riot Games improve the matchmaking system to ensure rank differences are minimized and matches remain fair for all players. I also ask that chat restrictions be reviewed more carefully to avoid unfair punishments. I hope Riot Games takes action to make competitive play more balanced and enjoyable.
