I Face UPTION App Transfer Block With $2400 Stuck in Balance
I am using the UPTION mobile application on an iPhone 12 mini with the latest iOS in Istanbul, Turkey, and for the past four days I have been unable to transfer my balance to anyone. On Friday, immediately after receiving a payment from another account, every attempt to send money to domestic bank accounts or even to cash pickup points started failing with the same error message: “cannot perform transaction.”
At this point, approximately $2,400 is stuck in my UPTION balance, and I cannot use or transfer these funds in any way through the app. I contacted UPTION customer service regarding this issue, but my call was abruptly disconnected, and afterward my calls have not been answered at all.
I have not made any changes to my account or device before this problem started. I did not change my phone number, email, SIM card, or device, and I did not perform any unusual activity other than receiving a payment.
I request that this issue be urgently investigated, that the restriction preventing my transactions be removed immediately, and that I be allowed to transfer my balance without any further delay. I also expect a clear written explanation for why my transactions have been blocked and why I was unable to receive proper customer support when I reached out.
