My Parcel Got Stuck at the UPS Branch Due to Barcode Error
The UPS Turkey delivery (Tracking Number: 1Z9A88626866928628) meant for me was initially out for delivery on 05.12.2023 but got sent back to the branch with a note saying "waiting for delivery at a later date." After some struggle, I managed to get in touch with a customer representative who claimed there was a barcode error, and they advised the sender to contact them. However, both sides of the product had barcodes, and the package could have made it to the UPS branch near my place. Why was it stuck at the branch? Moreover, if there was an issue with the cargo, why didn't UPS reach out to the sender or me directly? I'm curious to know how long my package would have languished at the branch had I not called today.
The company has not even contacted me yet. I will also forward this complaint to UPS Global. We have left our work aside and are wasting time chasing after our package that was supposed to be delivered days ago.
