Umingle Demands Rp39,900 to Unban an Account
On October 9, 2026, my Umingle account was suddenly banned while I was using the platform on my Windows computer. I had only been chatting briefly about drinks and viral TikTok content when I was disconnected and a warning window appeared on my screen. The message stated that my account had been banned for being “Under 18” and offered an “Instant Unban” option for Rp39,900 through a bank card payment form. I have not received any proper explanation, there was no prior warning, and I do not understand why I was classified as under 18 or why I am being asked to pay to have the ban removed. I request that Umingle review my account, lift the age-related ban if there is no clear and valid evidence to justify it, and provide a clear written explanation of the reason for the suspension rather than asking me to pay to restore access.
