Umingle Account And IP Ban Due To Malicious Trap - Age/Weapons Misunderstanding
On June 19, 2026, while using Umingle as a guest via the website on my iPad in the Philippines, I was unfairly banned without any proper explanation or chance to appeal. I was casually on video cam with another user who told me to type “m16” in the chat. I did not know what this phrase meant and simply typed it as I was told, and immediately after sending the message a ban screen appeared. The message on the screen stated that my account was under 18 and that I needed to pay in order to be unbanned. I am an adult user and I was using the site only as a guest, yet I was blocked instantly and treated as if I was underage without any verification process or review. The ban appears to be applied to my IP address, because I am now banned on all of my devices whenever I connect through my internet service provider. I refreshed and retried accessing the site, but I remain banned, and I also could not find any clear or direct way to contact Umingle support to explain the situation, which is why I am submitting this complaint. I have screenshots of the ban message showing what appeared on my screen. I request that this ban be investigated and lifted, as I did not intend to violate any rules and did not understand the meaning of the phrase I was asked to type. I also ask that any requirement to pay for an unban in this situation be removed and that my access to Umingle be restored so I can use the service again without this unjust restriction.
