Uber Driver Took Another Passenger And Ignored My Ride Request

March 13 9:01 AM99

On 12 March at around 11:30 a.m., I requested an UberX ride in Beşiktaş, on Ihlamurdere Street in Istanbul. When the car arrived, the driver saw another passenger with a suitcase and, instead of taking me as the rider who had made the request, he intentionally took that person and left. This situation was humiliating and made me feel clearly disregarded as a paying customer using the official Uber service. There is no accessible Uber support in Turkey, so I was not able to reach anyone through the app to report this properly or receive any assistance. I request that Uber investigate this incident thoroughly and take necessary action regarding this driver, including cancellation of this taxi from the platform if appropriate. I expect this behavior not to be repeated towards me or any other customer.
