Turkish Airlines TK Pay Overcharged My Wallet for Flight Ticket
At different times, I loaded a total of $1,529 in TK Money into the Turkish Airlines TK Pay Wallet app — specifically $414 and $1,115. On January 19, 2026, I purchased a round-trip ticket from Ankara to New York. This ticket was part of a promotional campaign, and the total ticket price was shown in the system as $981. I have all related documents and screenshots.
However, on a later date, when I checked my TK Pay wallet balance to purchase a ticket to Germany, I saw that only $135 remained in my account. After conducting a detailed review, I discovered that for the Ankara–New York ticket priced at $981, a total of $1,396 had been deducted from my TK Pay wallet.
I identified this discrepancy on February 18, 2026, and based on the clear inconsistency shown in the system, I believe an excessive amount was withdrawn from my account. Through my membership registered under the number 304****** in the TK Pay account, I submitted an objection form and also contacted customer service. Despite this, I was informed that after review, no error was found, and the matter was attempted to be closed.
I strongly disagree with this conclusion. I request a detailed explanation for the excess charge clearly visible in my account activity and a refund of the amount I believe was overcharged.
If necessary, I will pursue my legal rights in this matter. I also want to emphasize that other users should carefully review their TK Pay wallet balances, ticket amounts, and receipts to avoid similar issues.
I request that the amount I believe was overcharged be urgently investigated and refunded to my account, and that I be provided with a clear and written explanation regarding the inconvenience I have experienced.
