Turkish Airlines Refused to Allow Me to Use My Return Ticket for an Absurd Reason

On November 19, 2023, I had a round-trip ticket from Zurich to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen and back to Zurich on November 28, 2023. My ticket number is 2352207877119.

Issue: I couldn't take the flight on November 19 because my grandmother passed away on November 15, and I had to buy a new ticket to Istanbul on the same day. The problem is, since I missed the flight on November 19, they canceled my return ticket citing No Show and sequential flight rules.

Who would know about this rule?

I filed a complaint because the reason I missed the first flight was my grandmother's passing. I sent the death certificate and a document proving my relationship with her. My complaint form numbers are TK9889303 and TK9889975.

I haven't received a response for months. When I called today, I was told that they could issue a new ticket within 45 days. However, you didn't get back to me, so the period has passed, and I didn't need to enter Istanbul during this time anyway.

I urgently request that my grievance be resolved.
