Seat Change and Rude Behavior on THY Flight

On June 5, 2024, at 06:45, I checked in for THY flight TK 674 to Dubai. My seat number was recorded as 06F and was printed on the ticket I received from the counter. After a long sleepless night, during the final check before boarding the bus to the plane, a young female staff member took my ticket, crossed it out carelessly, and wrote 42F. When I asked for an explanation, her response and attitude were extremely rude and indifferent, almost to the point of aggression. The reason given was 'balance'? Upon boarding the plane, I found out that only my seat and a lady's seat had been changed in an otherwise empty plane. Naturally, I was very upset. It reminded me once again why I hadn't bought a THY ticket for a long time. I paid twice the fare to avoid such treatment (this wasn't the first time; they had previously caused trouble due to overbooking). Naturally, once the plane took off, all passengers scattered to their desired seats. Balance?! And the balance of the large Airbus plane depended on a total of 125 kg between me and the lady, well done. This balance was already violated by the relocated passengers. I suspect that wasn't the real reason and I documented it. Regardless of the reason, this attitude is wrong and does not befit THY. If balance is a concern, it should be considered at the counter. Also, why wasn't it the seat in front of or behind me? Balance reason? From now on, I will adhere more strictly to my decision not to fly with THY unless absolutely necessary. However, I must mention here that the flight attendants were extremely sensitive and tried to find a solution to my problem, and they too couldn't make sense of the situation. I owe them thanks for their thoughtful, understanding, sensitive, and respectful behavior. However, my personal decision has been reinforced by this latest incident; I will no longer choose THY, which I always tried to select previously (even for my staff), unless absolutely necessary.
