I have been using a Turkcell postpaid line for many years. For about two years now I have been experiencing a serious network problem at my home in Aksoy Neighborhood, Karşıyaka, İzmir. Most of the time my phone cannot be reached inside my house, I cannot even make voice calls. The quality of the cellular data connection is so poor that most of the time it feels like there is almost no internet at all, and I cannot even complete a speed test.
During this period I have talked to Turkcell customer service repeatedly and have filed many complaint records. However, each time I received evasive answers that sidestepped the issues instead of addressing them directly, and I was told that no reinforcement or renewal work is planned for my area. Although they implicitly acknowledge the existence of the problem, no concrete solution has been offered to date.
I want to use the service I pay a high price for each month without problems, especially at home. Being able to make normal calls and connect to the internet with my mobile phone while I am at home is my most basic right. If Turkcell cannot provide this service, I demand a refund of the unjustly charged bills for the service I have not received for a long time. Either the network problem in my area is permanently resolved, or the fees for the unusable service are refunded to me.
