Turkcell Drained My 11 GB Data in 40 Minutes and Provided No Real Support

I was a Vodafone user before switching to Turkcell, and this is my second month with them, but I’ve never experienced such poor service. My monthly 25 GB of data suddenly ran out within 6-7 days. I thought maybe I left something open by mistake, so I paid ₺320 for an additional 10 GB on September 18, 2024, at 08:17. After purchasing, I received an extra 1 GB via a promotion, making it 11 GB total. However, by 09:00, I received a message stating all my data was gone. I couldn’t believe it, as nothing was running in the background of my phone. When I contacted Turkcell’s Call Center, they told me they’d get back to me within 72 hours, but I highly doubt that will happen.
No solution was provided, so I had to purchase another package to stay connected. When I reached out to Turkcell Assistant, they only offered to sell me more data. The 11 GB I bought was exhausted in just 40 minutes. I don’t understand how I could possibly use up 10 GB in such a short time when I wasn’t even using my phone intensively. It feels like they’re simply taking advantage of me. Tomorrow, the first thing I will do is switch operators. I’ve worked as a senior manager in the service sector for over 30 years, and I’ve never come across such a profit-driven and customer-averse company. Turkcell is a huge regret, and I will cancel not only my subscription but also those of the company I manage.
