Turkcell Charged Me a Penalty After Saying There Was No Contract

Turkcell said there was no commitment, but after switching my line, they charged me ₺1400! Vodafone offers the same service at half the price! I switched my Turkcell line to Vodafone. The package I used at Turkcell cost over ₺1000 per month, and I got the same package at Vodafone for ₺512. I was told “No contract, no early termination fee.” But what happened? After switching, I was suddenly charged a fee of ₺1400 as if it were a penalty! I called customer service multiple times, but no one could give me a clear answer. One representative said one thing, another said something else—no one seemed to know or care. After moving to Vodafone, I realized it's not just about price. Vodafone's customer representatives are both knowledgeable and attentive. They explain everything clearly, and there’s no fear of being misled. They offer the same service, much more affordably, without any issues. In short: Turkcell is expensive, confusing, and unreliable. Vodafone is affordable, transparent, and customer-friendly. Misleading people with hidden fees does not suit Turkcell at all. You’re a prime example of how to lose loyal customers.
