If you find yourself locked out of your Trust Wallet, you must act quickly to reclaim control and protect your assets. Take the following steps:
• Verify Your Recovery Phrase: First, check to see if you have securely saved your recovery phrase, also known as a seed phrase. This recovery phrase, which typically consists of a specific sequence of words provided during wallet setup, is required for regaining access to your wallet. Having this phrase greatly simplifies wallet recovery.
• Uninstall Trust Wallet and reinstall it from the official source (App Store for iOS or Google Play for Android) if you have your recovery phrase.
• Wallet Restoration: During the setup process after reinstalling the app, you will be prompted to restore your wallet. Select this option and enter your recovery phrase in the correct order. This procedure will completely regenerate your wallet, including all of your previously held assets.
• Remember to keep your recovery phrase private and secure. Sharing it with others is strongly discouraged, and it should be kept in a location that only you have access to. Losing your recovery phrase can make wallet recovery much more difficult.
