Trust Wallet Demanded I Buy 1 ETH to Unlock My Funds
On December 3 at 12:26 p.m., I initiated a withdrawal transaction from my Trust Wallet account. After the transaction, the amount was deducted from my balance, but I suddenly became unable to perform any actions. I then saw a warning in the system stating that my account was in a “risky status” and had therefore been placed on hold.
After experiencing this issue, I contacted customer support via email. I was told that in order for my account to become withdrawable again, I would need to purchase 1 ETH, and that only then would my balance become eligible for withdrawal. Even though a balance of 37,129.64 USDT is currently visible in my account, I was told that it cannot be used or withdrawn unless this condition is met. I found this demand to be extremely unsafe and suspicious, and I refused to accept it.
I demand that the 37,129.64 USDT balance in my Trust Wallet account be released immediately, made fully usable and withdrawable, without any additional fees or preconditions.
