I have approximately 50,000 USDT in my Trust Wallet account, and since yesterday I have been completely unable to withdraw this balance. Even though I submitted a withdrawal request directly through the app, the transaction never goes through.
When I contacted customer support, I was told that for large withdrawals I should have waited 24 hours before contacting support again, and that I had “acted in a hurry” by attempting a private withdrawal. They claimed that this caused me to “close the channel” between the blockchain and my wallet. To reactivate the withdrawal channel, they said I must deposit an additional amount equal to 20% of my pool balance. They stated that my current balance is 50,659.876 USDT, and that in order to re-enable withdrawals I must deposit 10,131.9752 USDT into my wallet within 7 days. They also claimed that this is not a real fee, but only a temporary amount required to activate the channel.
I absolutely refuse to make such an additional payment and find this situation extremely suspicious and harmful. I do not find it reasonable at all to be asked to deposit a large additional amount of money just to withdraw the 50,000 USDT already in my account. I have not shared any private keys, passwords, or identity information—I have only communicated through in-app support.
I demand that Trust Wallet immediately end this arbitrary practice, cancel the additional payment requirement, and allow me to withdraw my existing USDT balance without any extra fees or conditions and without delay. I request that this issue be urgently investigated, clarified, and that I be provided with a clear written response.
