Trivago and Stayforlong Refuse to Refund My Reservation

I've had a terrible experience dealing with Trivago and Stayforlong, unreliable and untrustworthy companies. Despite paying the refundable fee and providing a health report, they refuse to refund my reservation. Why did I pay a refundable fee of $314 for a $5,000 hotel if they won't honor it? The refund policy stated that refunds would be provided in case of accidents or health issues, based on which I made a payment of $5,314. If the refund isn't processed, I'll lodge complaints against Trivago and Stayforlong worldwide and initiate legal action. Moreover, they've added the term "nonrefundable" after payment, claiming the reservation is nonrefundable. It would be deeply disappointing if Trivago overlooks this issue.
