I Paid via Stayforlong Through Trivago but Hilton Mersin Had No Booking for Me
I made a reservation for Hilton Hotel Mersin through Trivago, which redirected me to Stayforlong to complete the booking. I paid the full amount using my credit card and received what appeared to be a confirmed reservation.
However, when I arrived at the hotel, I was shocked to hear there was no reservation under my name. The hotel staff told me they had not received any booking from Stayforlong and refused to check me in. Despite this, the full amount was already charged to my card.
I immediately contacted both Stayforlong and Trivago, but each company tried to blame the other, saying it wasn’t their responsibility. No one is willing to take ownership or offer a solution. I did not stay at the hotel, and there is clear proof that I wasn’t checked in, yet I still haven’t received a refund.
