I planned a holiday for October 29 and used Trivago to make a reservation. However, without realizing it, Trivago redirected me to Stayforlong, where I completed the booking. This turned out to be a major problem.
Despite paying approximately 12,000₺, the hotel informed us that they couldn’t see our reservation in their system, leaving us unable to proceed with our planned stay. We had no choice but to book a different accommodation at a lower price out of pocket.
Adding to the frustration, there was no proper support or response from Stayforlong or Trivago. I’m shocked that a company as prominent as Trivago operates with such poor communication. I demand a full refund for the failed booking and better accountability.
