Trip.com Customer Service Delays Refund Despite Eligibility

The Düsseldorf–Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen flight (AJet) scheduled for April 5 at 1:10 PM, which we purchased through Trip.com on March 9, was canceled by the airline without our involvement. Under civil aviation regulations, we are entitled to a full refund without any deductions in such cases. However, Trip.com has been rejecting our refund request, stating that they have not received approval from AJet.

On March 16 and 17, we contacted both Trip.com and AJet multiple times via phone and email. AJet confirmed that for our reservation (PNR: 3TFNYE), we are entitled to a full refund and that the issue should be resolved by Trip.com. Meanwhile, Trip.com claims they cannot proceed without AJet’s approval, leaving us stuck and continuing to experience inconvenience.

I request that the €119 ticket fee for the canceled flight be refunded to us in full, without any deductions, in accordance with civil aviation regulations, as soon as possible.
