Tripadvisor's Pet-Friendly Hotel Listings Are Misleading

I searched for "pet-friendly hotels in Eskişehir" on Tripadvisor.com, as I was planning to travel with my dog. The site provided five suggestions, all listed as accepting pets. However, to confirm before booking, I called the hotels directly, only to discover significant inconsistencies. One hotel doesn’t accept pets at all, while others base their acceptance on the dog's breed, size, or weight.

My dog is very calm and weighs 35 kg, yet I couldn’t find a single hotel willing to accommodate us. If I had trusted Tripadvisor and booked without verifying, I would have been stranded. Tripadvisor must ensure their listings are accurate and provide clear information to prevent such frustrating experiences for pet owners.
