Tripadvisor's Misleading Ads and Fake Redirects Create Trust Issues

Tripadvisor's Misleading Ads and Fake Redirects Create Trust Issues
September 10, 2024 12:06 AM23

I used to rely on Tripadvisor as a trustworthy platform, but my recent experience has completely changed that. After searching for hotels on Google, Tripadvisor kept showing me Instagram ads for the same hotels. When I clicked on an ad to book a hotel at a great price, the reservation page redirected me to a completely different hotel. It felt like a deceptive bait-and-switch tactic. I trusted Tripadvisor for its reliability, but this kind of misleading advertising is unacceptable. I’ve lost my confidence in the platform and will no longer consider it a safe option for my bookings. They need to fix this issue and stop misleading users with fake redirects.
