Deceptive Sellers On Trendyol and Frustration With Refund Process

I placed an order on Trendyol with the delivery number 9569632163 for a product sold by a vendor named Mobilique. The product title stated “270 cm Kitchen Cabinet,” but I later realized from the description that only the lower module is 210 cm long. This is clearly a misleading and deceptive product listing. I noticed the issue just 5 minutes after placing the order and immediately canceled it. However, despite the quick cancellation, no refund has been issued. The system shows July 14 as the delivery date, and Trendyol customer service told me that I can only initiate a return after the product is shipped. This practice is in violation of both consumer rights and fair trade principles. A cancellation made within 5 minutes should result in an immediate refund. Trendyol’s policy of holding my money until July 14 is unacceptable. This is not just an individual issue; it raises concerns that thousands of people might be experiencing similar problems, with their money effectively being used by the platform without consent. Moreover, the rude and unprofessional attitude I encountered when speaking with customer service has only added to my frustration. After this experience, I no longer intend to shop from Trendyol and strongly advise others to be cautious as well.
