Tracelo Subscription Charged My ABSA Card Without Consent
I am writing to raise a serious complaint regarding unauthorized debits processed under a Tracelo subscription linked to my ABSA debit card. Without my consent, the following amounts were debited from my account: on 14 October, R292.50, on 7 November, R292.50, on 9 December, R292.50, on 8 January 2026, R292.50, on 8 July, R585, on 8 August, R585.20, and on 20 September, R292.50. In total, R2,632.90 has been taken from my account without my authorization. I contacted ABSA to dispute these debits, but the bank did not resolve the issue. I also reported the matter to Tracelo and requested that my account be closed on 11 October using the email address lebohangp***@yahoo.com, yet the debits continued after this request. I request a full refund of the total amount of R2,632.90 that was debited without my authorization. In addition, I want the Tracelo account linked to my ABSA debit card to be closed immediately. I also expect written confirmation stating when the full refund will be processed and confirming that the account has been closed so that no further debits can occur.
