I Was Charged Twice by Booking.com for Hotel Bookings I Never Made or Approved

I received two SMS notifications from Yapı Kredi Bank stating that my credit card had been charged by “BKG Hotel at Booking.com” — once for €447 and another for €304. I was shocked because I never made any such reservation or purchase through Booking.com.

I have not lost my card, I haven’t shared my card information with anyone, and I certainly haven’t authorized any hotel bookings. These charges were made without my knowledge or consent, and they do not belong to me in any way.

This is clearly unauthorized activity, and I demand an immediate cancellation and refund of both transactions. I also urge Booking.com to investigate how this fraudulent charge was processed under their name and take immediate action to protect users from similar breaches.

As a customer, I expect full transparency and swift resolution. Until this is resolved and my ₺ equivalent of the €751 total is refunded, I will not trust Booking.com with any of my future travel plans.
