On April 14, 2024, there were some unauthorized charges made on my Yapı Kredi Bank credit card at bkg Hotel through Booking.com. The charges amounted to ₺968 and $166. I didn't make any purchase like that, and I didn't give my card information to anyone or misplace my card. I wasn't even in Amsterdam on that day. I quickly noticed that this transaction wasn't mine, so I wasted no time in contacting my bank to report it and ask for it to be canceled. At that moment, my credit card was also closed. Unfortunately, I still haven't received a refund for this transaction, and it hasn't been canceled yet. Bkg Hotel Booking completed this transaction on behalf of someone else.
