Thebestpdf Charged Me $38 Without Consent

On November 25, I used the tool on Thebestpdf website to convert a PDF file to a PPT. Since the screen displayed a fee of only $1 USD, I completed the process by paying that amount. However, when I checked my statement today, I noticed that on the same date, an additional charge of $38 USD was placed on my card as a pending authorization—without my knowledge or consent. This authorization still appears under pending transactions.
There was no information on the payment screen about any fee other than the $1 USD, and no mention of a subscription or any additional charge. The $38 USD transaction was never disclosed at any stage of the process. As soon as I realized this, I canceled my membership and contacted the site’s support team to request a refund.
The card I used belongs to TEB Bank, and when I contacted my bank, I was informed that I needed to request a refund directly from the company. I do not accept being charged $38 USD when no such amount was shown during payment. I request that this unauthorized charge be fully canceled from the authorization list and that any amount already collected be refunded immediately.
