I purchased a pair of boots from The North Face store at Akasya Mall about five years ago. The sole has completely detached, and because it has essentially deteriorated and crumbled, it cannot be repaired or glued back together. Experiencing this level of failure in such a relatively short time—especially from a brand that promotes durability and outdoor performance—has been very disappointing.

Last week, I went to the North Face store at Akasya Mall to report the issue. I was told that the product only has a two-year warranty, and since that period has passed, there is nothing the brand can do. However, a product like this should not have such a short functional lifespan, and as a consumer, I should not be expected to use it for just two years and then throw it away.

For a product whose sole has deteriorated to the point that it cannot even be repaired, I expect the brand to take responsibility. I request that my situation be reviewed and that a reasonable solution—such as a replacement or another form of compensation—be offered.
