The North Face Boots Failed Within 10 Days And Warranty Claim Denied

On January 25, 2026, I purchased The North Face men’s boots (model NF0A4T36KZ2) from the Metro Market branch in Nilüfer, Bursa. I only used the product for commuting to and from work, and despite wearing them for approximately 10 days in total, the upper parts of both shoes came apart. Experiencing this level of damage in such a short time from a brand like The North Face was extremely disappointing.
On April 11, 2026, I submitted the product through Metro for warranty evaluation by the authorized service. After the inspection, I was provided with a written report stating that the issue was due to “user error,” and the company refused to take responsibility. However, I used the product under normal daily conditions, only for commuting, and I do not accept that this level of damage can be attributed to misuse.
Considering the short usage period and normal conditions of use, I request that my shoes be repaired free of charge. If repair is not possible, I request a replacement, and if that is also not possible, a full refund. I ask for the inspection process and the “user error” conclusion to be reviewed again and my grievance to be resolved. Otherwise, I will pursue my rights through the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
