About two years ago, I purchased a North Face jacket from the Vadi Istanbul store. However, every time I wore it, feathers would come out and stick to my clothes. Additionally, the jacket emitted a strong, unpleasant odor, especially in rainy weather.
I returned the jacket to the store, and they sent it for evaluation. While I requested a different model, they replaced it with the same one, saying, “Take this one and don’t make us deal with it further.” Begrudgingly, I accepted the replacement under warranty.
Unfortunately, the same issues persisted with the new jacket—feathers still leaked, and the odor worsened during rainy conditions. When I returned to the store again, they dismissed my complaint, claiming the two-year warranty period had expired. They calculated the warranty from the original purchase date, even though the replacement jacket was less than a year old.
I am not blaming the store staff, but the jacket is unusable, and my concerns have been completely ignored. I request a reevaluation of my jacket and am willing to pay extra for a different model if necessary. I expect North Face to address this matter with a solution-focused approach.
