I am writing regarding the unexpected restriction of my personal Telegram account, which I use on both Android and Desktop. On April 6, 2026, I discovered that my account linked to phone number +63 995 104 92** and username @Geeeee0818 had been restricted without any prior notice or warning. I can still open Telegram and see my chats in the inbox, but I can no longer view chat history, send messages, or receive new messages from my contacts. The only messages I am able to receive are from @SpamBot.

This situation is extremely serious for me because my financial statements, personal credentials, work documents, and other important personal files are all stored in this Telegram account, and I do not have copies saved anywhere else. I contacted @SpamBot and submitted an appeal, but I received a response stating that my appeal was denied without any clear explanation of what I allegedly did wrong. I then submitted a second appeal and am currently waiting for a response.

In addition, I emailed Telegram support because I have read that @SpamBot may sometimes restrict accounts by mistake, which makes this situation even more alarming. I am using Telegram from the Philippines, and I have always used my account for personal and legitimate purposes. I respectfully request the immediate restoration of my account, or at the very least, a thorough review and a clear explanation of the exact reason for this restriction.

Because all of my important financial and personal documents are stored in this account without any backup, I urgently ask that access be restored as soon as possible so I can recover my data. I expect Telegram to review this case carefully, correct any possible mistakes in its automated restriction system, and help me regain access to my account and documents without further delay.
