I downloaded the app from Google Play Store, and my credentials were far from weak—one example being: "8cYt****65". Despite this, I received no SMS code on my phone and no notification of any suspicious login attempt.
When I regained access to my account moments ago, I saw that it had been added to strange, Arabic-language channels that I’ve never interacted with. This proves that my Telegram ID was compromised and is now being used or shared elsewhere—without my knowledge or permission.
I’ve now enabled two-step verification, but I’m asking both Telegram and Google Play to take accountability. If someone can bypass both a complex password and SMS verification, there’s clearly a critical vulnerability in the system.
