Someone Opened a Telegram Account Without My Knowledge and Used My Number

I recently attempted to create a Telegram account only to find out that one had already been created and deleted without my knowledge. This discovery shocked me, as I had never opened an account before. Despite trying for days, today I saw that another Telegram account had been opened again using my number, completely without my consent.

I have no idea how this happened. It looks as if it was done directly from my phone, which makes this situation even more concerning. Eventually, I was able to create the account myself and believe I now have control—but I’m left extremely unsettled by the fact that my number and identity were previously used without permission.

Telegram, this is a serious breach. I demand an explanation and an investigation into how unauthorized access was allowed. I will not accept any responsibility for actions taken through accounts I didn’t open. Strengthen your account security measures—users shouldn’t have to worry about this level of vulnerability on your platform.
