A Telegram Account Was Opened with My Father's Number Without Access to Verification Code

A Telegram account was opened using my father’s phone number, even though the number is registered under my name. What's extremely troubling is that Telegram is not even installed on the phone, yet somehow, an account was created and used.
We received no verification code, no prompt, no notification—nothing. I have no idea how someone could access the account without receiving a code on the device itself. This raises serious questions about the platform’s security and makes us feel completely vulnerable.
Even worse, when we tried to log in or delete the account, we couldn’t gain access—even when the verification code was eventually sent to the phone. That tells me something more serious is going on behind the scenes.
Telegram, this is unacceptable. I no longer trust your platform and want the account deleted permanently. If this leads to any financial or emotional harm, you will be held fully responsible. Immediate action must be taken to secure the number, investigate the unauthorized access, and restore user trust before more people are affected.
