On September 17, 2025, I was contacted via the B* application by an unknown individual using a +234 (Nigeria) phone number. This person later continued communication with me through Telegram. During these conversations, they obtained private photos of mine and then started blackmailing me.
The individual threatened to send these photos to my family and friends and also to take over my social media accounts unless I complied with their demands. As a result of these threats, I made a total payment of ₺5,500 to the bank account they provided (QNB Bank, account holder: Ö). Despite making this payment, the threats did not stop.
I reported the matter to Telegram Support, but I have not received any reply or resolution. My Telegram username is “a*.” In addition, I have officially filed complaints with CİMER and the police regarding this incident.
I request that the Telegram account used by this blackmailer be urgently blocked and that Telegram take stronger security measures to prevent similar incidents, ensuring the safety of its users.
