On July 10, 2025, a Telegram user blackmailed me by threatening to share my private photos across all of my social media accounts unless I sent them money. This is an extremely serious violation of my privacy and safety. I am reporting this incident here because Telegram is the platform that is enabling this person to commit such crimes. I demand an immediate investigation into this account and an explanation as to how such malicious users are able to operate freely on your platform.
Telegram claims to offer a secure messaging service, yet users like me are left vulnerable to blackmail and privacy violations. I never consented to share these images publicly, and yet a stranger was able to obtain them and use them to extort me. This situation is beyond unacceptable.
I am urgently requesting Telegram to take immediate legal and technical action to identify and block this user, remove any of my stolen content from the platform, and prevent similar incidents in the future. Please restore my trust in your service by protecting my privacy and removing criminals who exploit your platform. If no action is taken, I will be forced to take legal steps and publicize this security failure.
