On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, around 10:00 PM, I was subjected to serious threats and blackmail through a private message on Telegram by a fake account. This individual illegally obtained my personal photos and manipulated them, adding explicit content and threatening to send these edited images to my family members and friends via Instagram and my phone contacts. The person also demanded money in exchange for not spreading the content. They appear to have access to my photos, social media accounts, and identity information.
These actions clearly constitute criminal offenses under the Turkish Penal Code, including illegal acquisition of personal data, violation of privacy, threat, and blackmail. This incident has caused me severe psychological distress, reputation damage, and conflicts within my family and social circle. It has also resulted in financial harm. The last four digits of my Telegram account are 0269, and the incident occurred in Adana, Turkey. This is the first time I’ve experienced such a situation.
I expect Telegram to identify and immediately suspend the account responsible for these criminal threats and blackmail, to secure my personal data, and to cooperate with legal authorities in initiating an official investigation. I urgently request support, protection, and legal assistance to resolve my grievance and prevent similar crimes from happening to others.
