Chronic Issues with Tefal Easy Fry Grill Steam and Poor Service Response
On April 3, 2023, I purchased the Tefal Easy Fry Grill Steam from Marmara Park Teknosa. Shortly after, in mid-August, I noticed that when I was only using the grill function, the timer was randomly advancing and reversing, and the appliance didn't automatically shut off and kept running. I sent it in for service because I was concerned about its behavior. However, the service experience was a complete disaster. The technicians appeared to have no idea how the product worked and claimed there was no problem. When we insisted on a problem, they claimed, "I didn't use it this way; I pressed the fry program and then the grill program." We had to explain how the product should work because it was clear they didn't understand how it worked. Eventually, the service admitted that the device had a flaw and replaced it with a new one. The same issue persisted with the new unit, much to our dismay. It's clear that this is a recurring problem with Tefal's product. We asked for a refund or an exchange, but they both declined, leaving us frustrated and disappointed. It's disappointing to have a product fail twice in four months, and it appears that no one is aware of the ongoing problems with Tefal's Easy Fry Grill Steam. We await the service's decision with bated breath after having high hopes for this product, but it does not appear to be a model worth recommending.
