The Devastating 21-Day Repair Crisis of the Tefal EY801D Easy Fry & Grill

I bought the Tefal EY801D Easy Fry & Grill & XXL model from Media Markt on July 19, 2023. It cost me 7,299 TL. The silicone parts inside the cooking compartment, which are made for placing the grill, just randomly came off. So, the unit started getting water through the hole, making it impossible to use for grilling. When I took it to the store, they told me that I couldn't get a refund or exchange. They said I had to send the device for repairs. After almost three weeks, which is almost a full month, the device was returned to the store. When I asked about the repairs, they told me that they were done. But when I got it back home, I realized that the device hadn't been fixed at all. It came back in the exact same condition after 21 days. I took the device back to the store, and we talked about the option of sending it for repairs again. Given the current situation, I would like to ask for a refund or an exchange for the device. I'm not happy with Media Markt and Tefal because I had to spend 2 out of 6 payments on repairs.

Hello, first of all, thank you for contacting Media Markt and following up on the issue. When I got back to you today, a service record was searched for but could not be found, and the product had been sent to the store. I sent it back to the service today because it had gotten even worse; the product had become unrecognizable, a used part had been installed, and the intact part was broken. Your customer service advisor had asked for a name to contact the service. As far as I learned today, it was sent to Mecidiyeköy Göray Service. Please take the necessary actions so that my return approval or exchange can be processed.
