Tefal Easy Fry & Grill Frequent Steam and Water Issues!
I bought a Tefal FW2018 Easy Fry & Grill & Steam+ oil-free fryer from Media Markt on November 19, 2023. That night, we tried using it, but it made so much steam, like when water boils in a kettle. After we took out the device, we found water inside, making puddles around the lid. We also use the smaller version of the same device without any problems.
It's clear that the device is broken. I'm surprised that a trustworthy brand like Tefal would make something like this. Also, Tefal's products are really expensive, and we trusted the brand when we bought it.
The store won't take back the item and tells us to go to the service center instead. Why should I send a broken product for repair right after I buy it? Why should I put up with waiting for 20 days? This isn't making customers happy. I'll send you some videos for you to check out. Media Markt won't accept the return, and Tefal is insisting that we take it for repairs. This doesn't meet any quality standards.

Dear Sir/Madam, I was contacted by the Tefal headquarters. I reiterated my complaint to them. They directed me to the service center. I still cannot understand why I have to go to the service center for a device I just purchased. The product is defective, and how do I know this? By comparing it side by side with a functioning one. This device cooks food, hygiene is important, how am I supposed to leave this device at the service center, won't they test it by cooking food? Please, within the bounds of logic, replace the device. I trust in Tefal's quality, but Tefal does not trust me when I say it is defective. What kind of double standard is this? Please direct me to the relevant department to carry out the replacement. Or, if possible, direct me to a service center where they can test it in front of my eyes and see that no steam is coming out and no water is forming inside.
