TEB Denied Pre-Approved Credit Card


Upon logging into mobile banking, I received a notification stating, "Your personalized credit card with a limit of ₺38,250 is ready." I called the bank's customer service to express my inability to access any details page. I emphasized that if the approval was certain, I wanted to apply, but if it required another evaluation, resulting in an increase in application count or a drop in my credit score, I wouldn't apply. When the representative assured me, saying, "Your offer is personalized, it's 99% approved. You'll likely only need to select the card type in the application," I applied. However, I received a negative response afterward. My meticulously maintained credit score for a year will now drop, and there will be an increase in my application count.
