Flik Flak Water-Resistant Children's Watch Failed After First Water Exposure
I purchased a Flik Flak brand children's watch from Özdilek in 2022, specifically because it was advertised as water-resistant. Since my child was too young at the time, we did not use the watch at all; my child has now reached 7 years of age and just started wearing it. However, the watch that we bought as water-resistant took in water within a short period of use, becoming completely ruined and inoperable.
I am deeply disappointed to experience such an issue despite paying a significant amount, trusting Swatch's quality to obtain a watch that could be used for many years. That the watch both leaked water and became unusable in such a short time is completely inconsistent with the price we paid and our expectations of the brand.
We still retain both the warranty document and the receipt. When I contacted the authorized support unit, I was informed that I would have to ship the watch at my own expense and that any repair would be subject to a fee. I expect that a watch sold as water-resistant failing due to water ingress should not be dismissed as user error, but rather evaluated under warranty coverage.
I demand that the product be repaired free of charge or, if possible, replaced. I request a customer satisfaction-oriented solution that will restore my trust in the brand.
