Huawei Denies My Warranty on a 5 ATM Water Resistant GT Runner

I bought my Huawei GT Runner smartwatch in 2022 and have been using it for about three years without any problems until it came into contact with water. I went in the water with this watch, which we trust to check the time on vacation, and then it came into contact with water for the first time. (I used to take the watch off and use it meticulously, and it's as good as new, with no deformations, bumps, or scratches on the screen.) My product was not covered by the warranty. After this issue, I sent the watch to an authorized service center in Istanbul, and the application number is IST01-OU-6592875. The Huawei GT Runner's specifications list 5 ATM water resistance. The statement, "5 ATM," states that it is suitable for swimming, light water sports, and withstands pressure equivalent to a depth of 50 meters." The service center and the Huawei brand are trying to convince you that this will expire after two years because the warranty has expired. In other words, they're saying it might get wet and lose its durability after two years. The service description states, "User-related liquid contact..." Since this watch is not intended for use by anyone other than the user, and if retailers are selling it to customers claiming it's water-resistant, of course there will be liquid or water contact. It shouldn't mean we're going to wear it on our wrists just because it's a decorative watch. When we send the watch in for service, we're shocked. The service inspection results in a very high repair fee of ₺21,991.00. I don't know if Huawei offers premium watches for this price, but this is practically taking a toll on a modern-day person. Then, they try to win you over with a ₺1,000 discount code, trying to sell you another watch that will be wasted in two years, using the small business man's tactics. They should have admitted their mistake and offered free repairs, but it turns out that the brand is simply misleading people and failing to stand behind its products, and this is a regrettable mistake. We made this mistake, and we hope it serves as a guide for prospective buyers. These fees are exorbitant in Turkish Lira, and the discount coupon the company offers is ridiculous.
