Swatch Watch Suffered Water Damage and Service Refused a Upfront Price Quote
My Swatch watch broke after coming into contact with water. It was ruined by simple water exposure. Yet, back in the day, I spent a whole month’s salary to buy it. When I took it in for service, they babbled on about various excuses like "the gasket deteriorated" and labeled it as user error. Fine, I told them to repair it anyway, but they refuse to provide a price quote. What if they come back later charging the price of two new watches? Swatch used to be one of the top watch brands back in its era, but they have completely lost customer trust. I always thought I would pass this watch down to my nieces, but unfortunately, it was all in vain. The representatives are indifferent and the brand lacks vision.
